They provide expertise across a wide spectrum of matters, including: - Defence of liability claims pre- and post-litigation - Adjudication, arbitration, and disciplinary proceedings - Risk management advice and insurer policy coverage analysis As an Associate, you will join a vibrant, growing team in London, working closely with partners and colleagues across the firm. You will manage a varied caseload of construction professional indemnity claims, with matters ranging from tens of thousands to multi-million-pound values. You will have autonomy over your work while benefiting from mentoring and guidance from senior lawyers. Key Responsibilities: - Managing a caseload of construction professional indemnity claims, including coverage issues - Delivering high-quality legal advice in a timely manner, aligned with client service standards - Contributing to continuous improvement of team processes, procedures, and service delivery - Supporting business development initiatives and client engagement activities - Preparing management information and reporting for internal and client purposes - Attending and assisting with client events and networking initiatives Candidate Profile: - NQ-4 years PQE - Strong grounding in construction litigation; insurance experience desirable but not essential - Ability to provide pragmatic, commercial legal solutions and build trusted client relationships - Proactive, collaborative, and commercially aware - Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Experience mentoring junior team members and contributing to a supportive team culture - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT literacy This is an opportunity to advance your career within a leading, top-ranked construction insurance team.
