Insurance & Construction Disputes Lawyer | London We are instructed by a highly regarded London-based law firm that is looking to strengthen its insurance and construction disputes offering with the addition of an experienced disputes lawyer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing team acting for insurers and insureds on complex, high-value contentious matters. The role will suit a lawyer with a strong background in professional negligence, construction-related claims and insurance coverage disputes, who is comfortable handling technically challenging work and working closely with sophisticated clients. The role will involve: - Acting on complex professional negligence, construction and insurance coverage disputes - Defending cladding and fire safety claims, including those arising under the Building Safety Act 2022 and Defective Premises Act 1972 - Advising insurers on coverage, policy interpretation and excess of loss issues - Managing claims typically up to £5m, with involvement in higher-value matters - Working closely with insurers, brokers, insureds, experts and Counsel The ideal candidate will have: - Strong experience in insurance disputes and/or construction-related claims - Exposure to cladding and fire safety matters - Excellent drafting, analytical and client-handling skills - Experience operating within a collaborative, high-quality disputes practice What's on offer: - High-quality, complex work within a respected London disputes team - A supportive and collegiate working environment - Competitive remuneration and genuine long-term prospects - If you're an experienced insurance or construction disputes lawyer considering your next move in London, this is a role well worth exploring.
