Serious Injury Solicitor | 2+ PQE | Manchester I'm currently working with a leading UK law firm that is looking to add a Serious Injury Solicitor to its Manchester team. This is a great opportunity for a solicitor with claimant catastrophic injury experience who is looking to continue developing within a highly regarded team. The team acts for clients and their families following life-changing injuries, including brain injuries, spinal injuries and amputations, with a strong focus on rehabilitation and achieving the best possible long-term outcome for clients. The role: Work alongside Partners and Senior Fee Earners on a varied and complex catastrophic injury caseload Draft Schedules of Loss, Witness Statements, Disclosure Lists, Cost Budgets and other key documentation Prepare instructions to experts and counsel Attend court hearings, both remotely and in person Build strong relationships with clients, their families and other professionals involved in their care Depending on experience, there is scope to take on your own lower-value / less complex Multi-Track matters Benefit from regular supervision, support and guidance as you continue to develop What they're looking for: Solicitor with 2+ PQE Experience assisting with or handling claimant Serious/Catastrophic Injury claims Good knowledge of the CPR and relevant protocols Strong technical and organisational skills Confident dealing with vulnerable clients and complex circumstances Someone personable, empathetic and genuinely committed to client care A collaborative approach and willingness to learn On offer: Hybrid working in Manchester Minimum 25 days' holiday + bank holidays Birthday day off Death in service Pension Employee Assistance Programme Employee referral scheme Various local business discounts
