Costs Lawyer / Costs Draftsperson - High-Value PI (Fully Remote) We are working with a forward-thinking firm seeking an experienced Costs Lawyer or Costs Draftsperson to join their team remotely, focusing on high-value Personal Injury matters. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on technically challenging work and values the flexibility of fully remote working, while contributing to significant, high-profile cases. The Role: - Preparing Bills of Costs for complex, high-value PI claims, including multi-track and catastrophic injury matters - Advising on costs strategy, risk, and recovery - Managing Points of Dispute and Replies - Negotiating costs and handling detailed assessment proceedings - Supporting fee earners with complex costs issues throughout the claim lifecycle About You: - Solid experience with high-value PI costs work - Strong technical knowledge of the CPR, Costs Practice Direction, and relevant case law - Confident drafting and negotiation skills - Able to work independently in a remote setting - Qualified Costs Lawyer preferred, but highly experienced Costs Draftspersons are welcome to apply What's On Offer: - Fully remote working - Competitive salary reflecting experience - Exposure to high-quality, complex caseloads - Supportive, collaborative team culture - Clear long-term progression and stability BCL Legal is an equal opportunities employer.
