Defendant Clinical Negligence Solicitor | Manchester / Liverpool I'm currently working with a leading national law firm that is looking to add to its established Healthcare Litigation team, with opportunities available in Manchester or Liverpool. The team acts for NHS Resolution and other healthcare providers, dealing with a high-quality caseload of complex and often high-value clinical negligence claims. It's a great opportunity for an experienced defendant clinical negligence solicitor - and they're also open to claimant clinical negligence lawyers looking to make the move across to defendant work. The role: Manage your own caseload of defendant clinical negligence claims from inception through to resolution Assist on more complex and high-value matters Draft pleadings and witness statements Instruct and work with counsel and medical experts Attend conferences, mediations and court hearings Work closely with NHS Trusts and healthcare professionals Get involved in business development where appropriate What they're looking for: Solicitor with defendant clinical negligence experience NHS Resolution experience would be advantageous, but isn't essential Claimant clinical negligence experience will also be considered Strong technical ability and attention to detail Excellent communication and client care skills Able to manage a busy caseload effectively Proactive, collaborative and commercially minded On offer: High-quality and complex clinical negligence work Manchester or Liverpool location Hybrid working Supportive and well-structured team Clear training and progression opportunities Competitive salary and benefits package If you're currently working in Clinical Negligence and would be interested in hearing more - particularly if you're considering a move from claimant to defendant work - drop me a message for a confidential chat.
