Clinical Negligence Solicitor

Associate - Clinical Negligence (NQ-2 PQE) Basingstoke A highly regarded claimant clinical negligence team is looking to recruit a junior Associate to join its growing Basingstoke office. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor up to around 2 years' PQE to develop their career within a nationally recognised team known for handling complex and high-value work. The team specialises in advising individuals and families who have suffered injury or loss as a result of medical treatment, with particular expertise in serious and life-changing claims including birth injury matters. You will be joining an experienced and supportive group with an excellent reputation in this field. The role will involve running a small caseload of clinical negligence matters with supervision, alongside assisting a Partner on complex and high-value claims, including catastrophic injury and birth injury cases. You will work closely with an experienced paralegal and gain exposure to high quality work from an early stage. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about developing their career in clinical negligence and will ideally have trained or gained experience within a reputable claimant clinical negligence team. You should be organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities in a busy practice. Strong communication and client care skills are essential, as is a genuine interest in supporting clients through sensitive and often complex claims. An interest in contributing to business development activities within the team would also be beneficial.
