Serious Injury Solicitor (NQ+) Manchester | Hybrid Working A strong opportunity has come up for an NQ+ Solicitor to join a well-regarded Serious Injury team based in Manchester. This is a claimant-focused role within a specialist team handling life-changing injury work, including brain injuries, spinal cord injuries and amputation cases. The team is known for its client-first approach and emphasis on early rehabilitation and long-term support, working closely with families through what are often extremely complex and sensitive matters. The Role You'll work closely with Partners and senior fee earners across a busy catastrophic injury caseload, supporting on high-value, technically complex matters. Day-to-day work will include: Drafting key litigation documents including Schedules of Loss, disclosure lists, witness statements and cost budgets Assisting with expert and counsel instructions Attending court hearings (remote and in-person where required) Acting as a key point of contact for clients and third-party professionals Supporting multi-track catastrophic injury matters, with scope to run your own lower-value cases depending on experience You'll be well supported with structured supervision, making this a strong step for someone looking to build a long-term career in serious injury work. About You NQ+ Solicitor Some experience in claimant personal injury / catastrophic injury work (seat or assisting experience considered) Good technical understanding of CPR and litigation procedure Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Empathetic approach and confidence working with vulnerable clients A genuine team player who enjoys collaborative working Given the nature of the work, client care and sensitivity are key - you'll need to be comfortable supporting individuals and families in challenging circumstances in a professional and considered way.
