Head of Residential Property - London London We're working on a senior appointment for a well-regarded London practice seeking a Head of Residential Property to lead and grow an established but lean team. This is a standout opportunity for an experienced Residential Property Solicitor who wants a genuine platform role with scope to shape the department and progress towards partnership. The Role You will take responsibility for: - Leading and developing the existing Residential Property team (currently 1 senior solicitor plus paralegals) - Managing your own high-quality caseload of residential conveyancing matters - With a strong focus on new build and off-plan purchases (acting for buyers) - Driving team growth, recruitment and overall practice development - Playing a key role in business development and client relationship building - Working closely with leadership on strategy and future expansion of the department About You - Experienced Residential Property Solicitor (likely 5+ PQE or equivalent) - Strong track record in new build / off-plan residential work - Comfortable running a busy, high-value caseload independently - Proven ability (or clear appetite) for business development - Leadership experience or readiness to step into a team head role - Ambition for a long-term senior position, with clear scope for future partnership The Opportunity This is a rare chance to step into a visible leadership role with real influence over the direction of the practice.
