Energy Regulatory Associate - Austin, TX
I'm working with a leading US law firm that is looking to add an Energy Regulatory Associate to its Austin office.
This is an opportunity to join a well-regarded energy and infrastructure practice, working on a broad range of matters involving the rapidly developing energy requirements of large-scale infrastructure and technology projects.
The role would suit an attorney with 3-6+ years' experience across energy regulatory, power markets, infrastructure transactions or a closely related area.
The team is particularly interested in lawyers with experience advising:
Data centre developers, hyperscalers or other large energy users
Digital infrastructure and co-located generation projects
Large-scale energy procurement and power market matters
Energy and infrastructure transactions
Experience with FERC, state public utility commissions and/or appellate court proceedings would be useful, although this isn't essential.
They're looking for someone who is commercially minded, proactive and comfortable working directly with clients and other counsel. The role offers the opportunity to take on significant responsibility and work on sophisticated, high-value energy and infrastructure matters within a collaborative team.
Location: Austin, TX
Experience: 3-6+ years
Salary: $260,000-$390,000 + bonus and benefits
If you're an Austin-based energy attorney, or know someone who may be open to hearing more, feel free to get in touch with me directly and I can provide further details on the firm and opportunity.
BCL Legal is an equal opportunities employer.
