Real Estate Attorney

Real Estate Associate - Houston, Texas An established Texas law firm is looking to recruit a junior to mid-level Real Estate Associate to join its Houston team. The role will involve working on a broad range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, development, construction, leasing, financing and disposals across office, retail, industrial and mixed-use assets. You'll work closely with an experienced team of partners and counsel, with access to hands-on training, mentorship and support as you continue to develop your practice. The Role Drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, closing documents, commercial leases, development agreements, easements and restrictive covenants. Managing due diligence, including reviewing and resolving title and survey issues. Advising lenders and borrowers on real estate financing, including construction loans, permanent financing, mortgage and mezzanine debt. Advising on entity structuring and joint venture arrangements. Supporting commercial real estate transactions from inception through to completion. The Candidate At least 2 years' experience in commercial real estate transactions. Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills, with experience across a range of commercial real estate matters. Excellent academic credentials. Admitted to the Texas Bar and in good standing, or eligible for admission by waiver. What's on Offer? Competitive compensation, dependent on experience and qualifications.
