Data Privacy & AI Associate - Dallas, Texas I'm working on behalf of a leading AmLaw 100 law firm looking to recruit a Data Privacy & AI Associate to join its team in Dallas. This is an opportunity for an associate with experience in data privacy, data protection or cybersecurity to work with a broad range of clients on privacy counselling, regulatory compliance and emerging AI-related matters. The role will involve: - Advising clients on data privacy and protection, including the collection, storage, sharing and use of data. - Drafting and reviewing data retention policies, privacy agreements and data processing agreements. - Assisting with incident response, data breaches, breach notifications and related reporting. - Advising on artificial intelligence matters and emerging legal and regulatory developments. - Keeping up to date with state and federal privacy laws, AI regulations and cybersecurity requirements. The ideal candidate will have: - 1-3 years of relevant experience in data privacy, data protection and/or cybersecurity. - A genuine interest in the privacy and AI space, ideally supported by CIPP certification. - Exposure to AI-related matters and/or incident response and data breach work. - Strong academics, excellent research and writing skills, and attention to detail. - A proactive approach, strong interpersonal skills and a desire to develop within this specialist practice. - Admission to the Texas Bar, or eligibility to waive in.
