Interim Legal Counsel

Company: Our client is a leading professional services company offering multidisciplinary services and solutions to clients on a global basis. It is a company with interesting work, a good culture, down to earth and welcoming team members, and ambitious growth plans. The business and legal team is expanding in the UK and there is the possibility that the Interim Legal Counsel position could become permanent. Role: As Interim Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for providing high-quality legal advice and support to our clients business units and key stakeholders. This will include drafting, reviewing, negotiating and advising on contracts; providing advice on tenders, bids, and proposals; and picking up other legal documents as required. You will also be responsible for: day to day advice and guidance; assisting with the management of legal risk; ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations; supporting with disputes; and liaising with external counsel and stakeholders as required. About you: To be considered for the position of Interim Legal Counsel, it is envisaged that you will have 5+ years' post-qualified experience and be qualified in England and Wales or Scotland. You should be available to undertake a 12 month fixed-term contract from late March/early April '24. Applications from solicitors with existing in-house experience are encouraged however the hiring manager will also consider individuals seeking to move in-house for the first time.
