Restructuring & Insolvency Solicitor | Associate to Senior Associate Level | Nationally Recognised Team | Birmingham | Hybrid Working Available An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Restructuring & Insolvency Solicitor to join a highly respected national law firm with a well-established presence in the Birmingham market. This role would suit a solicitor with experience across both contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters, who enjoys working closely with insolvency practitioners, lenders, and distressed businesses. Hybrid working is available, typically with 2-3 days in the office to support client and team interaction. The Role Joining a recognised and growing R&I team, you will: Act on behalf of insolvency practitioners, lenders, and distressed businesses across a broad range of matters Work on complex restructurings, administrations, business sales out of insolvency, and litigation involving director conduct and antecedent transactions Prepare and review court applications, advisory letters, sale agreements, and out-of-court appointment documentation Attend court hearings, manage client relationships, and support senior lawyers on strategic and high-value work Contribute to business development activity and collaborate across the wider firm This is an opportunity to work closely with a highly experienced Partner and senior lawyers within a supportive, national team structure. The Candidate This role is ideal for a confident, pragmatic solicitor with strong technical ability and a commercial mindset. You will: Be a qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with ideally 1-7 years' PQE in restructuring and insolvency work Have experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters (flexible depending on background) Be confident managing your own caseload, with appropriate supervision and mentoring available Demonstrate excellent drafting skills and the ability to find practical, commercial solutions Be motivated by client service and developing your profile within the market Have a genuine interest in the wider restructuring and finance landscape What's on Offer?
