Private Wealth Senior Associate/Legal Director - Birmingham BCL Legal is delighted to be working with a leading national law firm on the recruitment of a senior Private Client Solicitor to join its Birmingham team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced private client lawyer to advise high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families and business owners on complex private client and wealth planning matters. The Role Advising HNW and UHNW individuals, families and business owners on complex private client matters. Advising on wills, trusts, estate and succession planning and wealth preservation. Managing complex and high-value taxable and non-taxable estates. Advising on inheritance tax, capital gains tax and lifetime gifting strategies. Establishing, administering and restructuring trusts and advising trustees. Advising on family investment and wealth-holding structures. Handling Court of Protection matters, including deputyship applications and ongoing administration. Working closely with accountants, tax advisers, trustees and other professional advisers. Contributing to the growth and development of the wider Private Client practice. Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers. The Candidate Qualified Solicitor with significant private client experience. Strong technical expertise across wills, trusts, estate administration, succession planning and inheritance tax. Experience advising on complex, high-value estates involving business, agricultural, investment and property assets. Excellent client relationship and communication skills, with a commercial approach. Able to manage a busy and varied caseload while maintaining high standards of client service. Experience supervising and developing junior lawyers. STEP qualification is desirable but not essential. Why Consider It?
