Elevate your legal career within the dynamic sphere of construction law at a prestigious international law firm located in the heart of the City of London. This firm is renowned for its exceptional service and expertise, acting for an impressive roster of national and international clients. As a seasoned Construction Lawyer with 3-6 years of post-qualification experience, this pivotal role will see you immersed in complex and high-value construction disputes, including UK adjudications, arbitrations, and TCC litigation. The firm seeks a legal professional who is adept in contentious construction matters, someone who thrives in an environment that demands excellence and precision. Your role will involve a significant amount of dispute advisory work, including alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation, requiring a sharp analytical mind and outstanding negotiation skills. Your caseload will be diverse and challenging, covering a spectrum of issues from final account and delay claims to quality of build disputes. You will navigate the intricacies of construction insolvency, bond claims, and ACM cladding, as well as other fire safety defects claims. Moreover, your expertise will extend to professional indemnity and other insurance-related claims. In this role, your advice will be sought by a variety of stakeholders including government bodies, sponsors, funders, developers, employers, operators, constructors, sub-contractors, and professional teams. Your guidance will be pivotal in dispute avoidance and resolution mechanisms, as well as in project procurement techniques, including facilities management. The firm values the professional development of its staff and offers a supportive environment where your skills will be honed and your contributions recognised. You will benefit from a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package, and the chance to work alongside industry-leading professionals. Candidates must possess robust knowledge of the construction sector and be able to demonstrate a track record of successful dispute resolution. Excellent communication and client management skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. BCL Legal is an equal opportunities employer.
