Senior Associate - Non-Contentious Construction Solicitor | West End Boutique Firm This is a rare opening for a talented lawyer to step into a Senior Associate position within a firm renowned for its partner-led approach, outstanding client service, and expertise across complex, high-value real estate and construction projects. The Role: As a Senior Associate in the firm's non-contentious construction team, you will play a key role advising a sophisticated client base that includes developers, institutional investors, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, and family offices. You will be responsible for:- - Drafting and negotiating JCT and NEC contracts, consultant appointments, collateral warranties, and bespoke agreements. - Advising on procurement strategies and construction risk mitigation across major development and infrastructure schemes. - Working closely with clients throughout the full lifecycle of a project - from planning and procurement through to completion and final handover. - Supporting and collaborating with the firm's real estate and corporate teams on multi-disciplinary transactions. Candidate Requirements: We are looking for a confident, commercially-minded construction solicitor with:- - A minimum of 6 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) gained in a well-regarded City, West End or boutique practice. - Proven technical ability in non-contentious construction law, with strong drafting and negotiation skills. - A pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to communicate effectively with high-profile clients. - A proactive approach, capable of working both autonomously and as part of a tight-knit team. - Experience working in a boutique or partner-led firm is advantageous but not essential.
