As part of this firm's prestigious construction disputes group, you'll play a key role in a team that advises a diverse mix of clients across the construction and engineering sectors. You'll work on complex contentious matters involving delay, disruption, and defects claims, while also providing strategic project advice aimed at managing risk and avoiding disputes altogether.
The London team collaborates closely with colleagues across the UK and globally, offering the successful candidate a platform to broaden their technical skills and professional network. You'll be supported in business development, encouraged to contribute to team growth, and given access to first-class training and mentoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising on high-value construction disputes, with a focus on litigation, adjudication, arbitration, and other methods of dispute resolution.
- Delivering pragmatic, commercial advice to clients, including real-time project support.
- Managing a varied and intellectually challenging caseload.
- Collaborating with colleagues nationally and internationally on major mandates.
- Contributing to business development initiatives and building long-term client relationships.
Candidate Requirements:
- UK-qualified solicitor with 4-7+ years' PQE in contentious Construction & Engineering law.
- Strong academic credentials and technical excellence in litigation and ADR processes.
- Confident, commercially astute, and able to advise clients directly on day-to-day matters.
- Team-focused, collaborative and keen to share knowledge and support junior colleagues.
- Enthusiastic about contributing to a dynamic, high-performing team and growing practice.
