Energy Projects Lawyer | US Law Firm | City of London An elite US law firm in the City of London is seeking a talented Energy Projects Lawyer to join its thriving and high-profile Energy & Infrastructure team. This is a standout opportunity for an experienced energy or projects solicitor to take a central role in market-leading transactions while developing their career within the dynamic environment of a prestigious international firm. Acting for a premium client base, you will advise across the full lifecycle of major energy and infrastructure developments, with a particular focus on project development and commercial contracting. Working closely with partners who are recognised leaders in the field, you will be exposed to a wide range of high-value transactions across Europe, Africa, and other key international markets. Key Responsibilities: - Advising on the development, construction, financing, and operation of major energy and infrastructure projects. - Drafting and negotiating key project documentation including EPC, EPCM, O&M, feedstock, and offtake agreements. - Guiding clients through complex regulatory frameworks and government support schemes. - Supporting sponsors, lenders, institutional investors, DFIs, governments, and developers on landmark transactions. - Collaborating with colleagues across international offices to deliver integrated, cross-border legal solutions. About You: - England & Wales qualified solicitor with 5-7 years' post-qualification experience. - Solid background in energy, projects, or infrastructure law gained from a leading UK or international law firm. - Significant experience advising on construction and supply-side contracts in the energy sector. - Commercially astute, with a collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to client service. - Passionate about working at the forefront of the energy transition and contributing to a growing, high-performing team.
