An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Associate to join a high-performing Construction Litigation team at a globally recognised practice headquartered in London. As a Construction Litigation Associate, you'll join a specialist disputes team with a strong international footprint, advising on a variety of high-stakes construction and engineering matters. You will work closely with partners and senior lawyers across the UK, Middle East, and Asia, delivering tailored legal solutions on both domestic and cross-border disputes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Advising clients on a wide range of contentious construction and engineering disputes, including matters related to energy, infrastructure, commercial property, and transport projects
- Managing claims arising from issues such as delay, disruption, defects, payment disputes, and contract interpretation
- Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing contracts, pleadings, witness statements, and expert reports
- Supporting partners on international arbitration and litigation under various institutional rules (e.g., ICC, LCIA, DIFC)
- Developing client relationships and participating in business development initiatives
- Contributing to thought leadership and internal knowledge sharing
Candidate Requirements:
- 1-5 years' PQE (UK-qualified) with demonstrable experience in contentious construction law, gained at a leading City, international, or recognised regional firm
- A strong academic background and excellent drafting, analytical, and client-facing skills
- Experience with adjudication, arbitration, and litigation processes (international experience is advantageous but not essential)
- The ability to manage complex workloads and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
- A proactive, collaborative attitude and a genuine interest in developing client relationships
