Real Estate Associate | International Law Firm | City of London
A highly regarded international law firm is seeking a talented Real Estate Associate to join its market-leading London practice. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer to join a ranked and respected team with an international footprint, known for high-quality work across development, investment, and landlord & tenant matters.
The Opportunity:
This role offers the chance to work on a broad spectrum of real estate matters, advising a diverse client base including property developers, investors, occupiers, and lenders. You'll be part of a collaborative and growing team, where you'll be encouraged to develop your technical skills, build your profile, and take on increasing responsibility in line with your experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on acquisitions and disposals of commercial and investment property, including sale and leaseback arrangements.
- Act for both landlords and tenants in lease negotiations and associated asset management.
- Advise on development work, including site acquisitions, development agreements, and disposals.
- Review and report on title, draft and negotiate heads of terms, and liaise with other internal teams (Banking, Construction, Corporate).
- Supervise and support junior team members and paralegals across portfolio and asset management instructions.
Candidate Requirements:
- 2-4 years' PQE gained at a well-regarded commercial property team.
- Solid experience in commercial real estate transactions.
- Strong exposure to landlord and tenant matters.
- A commercial mindset, clear communication skills, and a proactive approach.
- A genuine interest in contributing to business development and growing client relationships.
