An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Construction Litigation Solicitor to join the London office of a leading UK law firm with one of the country's most dynamic and growing construction practices.
This is an exciting time to join a team at the forefront of the UK's building safety and construction disputes market, advising some of the largest residential developers, contractors and housebuilders on complex, high-value matters arising from the evolving legal landscape since the Grenfell tragedy.
This role offers genuine scope to build your profile and career within a nationally recognised construction team that works across the UK and overseas. You'll advise top-tier clients on fire and building safety issues, remediation strategies, and high-value disputes often involving cutting-edge issues under the Building Safety Act 2022 and related legislation.
Working alongside leading construction, real estate and litigation specialists, you'll act for major national housebuilders, developers and contractors, supporting them in managing risk, resolving disputes, and navigating the government's evolving regulatory framework.
You'll gain exposure to multi-million-pound arbitration and court proceedings, collaborating with experts across disciplines including fire engineering, architecture, and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising clients on construction disputes and building safety issues, including remediation obligations and liabilities.
- Acting in litigation, arbitration, and adjudication proceedings relating to complex construction and safety claims.
- Supporting developers, contractors and housebuilders on procurement and remediation strategy.
- Building strong relationships with clients and contributing to business development within the construction and real estate sectors.
- Collaborating with colleagues across the national construction team on cross-jurisdictional matters.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales), ideally 3-6 years' PQE in construction disputes.
- Commercially minded with an interest in the wider political and regulatory landscape shaping the construction industry.
- Strong communicator and relationship builder, confident working directly with clients.
- Proactive, ambitious, and enthusiastic about developing your expertise in a growing national team.
You'll join a firm recognised for its forward-thinking, collaborative culture and commitment to developing its people. The role offers clear progression opportunities, hands-on client exposure, and the chance to work alongside some of the sector's most respected practitioners.
The firm also champions flexibility and inclusion, with a strong emphasis on work-life balance, wellbeing and career development.
If you're a Construction Litigation Solicitor looking to work on some of the most high-profile and technically challenging construction and building safety matters in the UK, this is an exceptional opportunity to take the next step in your career.
Applications are welcomed from those in regional or national practices seeking a broader platform and stronger client exposure.
