Real Estate Associate An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented Real Estate Associate to join a highly regarded London law firm with a leading reputation in real estate, private wealth, and development work. This is a full-time, permanent position offering top-tier real estate work in a supportive, collaborative environment. This position sits within a renowned Commercial Real Estate team acting for a broad range of clients across the UK property market, including institutional investors, asset managers, landed estates, developers, and high-net-worth property owners. The successful candidate will advise on a wide range of commercial property transactions, including: - Asset management for major UK real estate portfolios - Sales and acquisitions of investment properties across multiple asset classes - Property finance and refinancing transactions - Complex agreements for lease, including pre-lets and development-related leases - Landlord and tenant matters, including headleases, turnover leases, and rights of light issues You'll work closely with clients on high-profile assets in Central London and beyond, including historic estates and City livery companies, advising on both traditional property law issues and modern, commercial-driven asset management strategies. While the focus of the role is on ongoing asset management and investment transactions, you will also gain exposure to development and finance work, providing a broad foundation across all aspects of commercial property law. The ideal candidate will have: - 3-4 years' post-qualification experience gained at a leading City, West End or national firm with a strong real estate practice - A solid background in commercial property law, ideally with exposure to asset management and investment transactions - Excellent drafting, negotiation and client-handling skills - A commercial mindset with the ability to deliver practical solutions to complex property issues - Experience working with institutional or private real estate clients You'll be joining a close-knit and well-structured team where collaboration, technical excellence and client service are paramount.
