You will join a nationally recognised team advising on some of the most high-profile and complex projects in the UK's energy and decarbonisation market.

The practice advises developers, sponsors, investors, government bodies and public sector organisations on a wide range of market-leading energy and infrastructure projects, including:

As an experienced lawyer in this team, your key responsibilities include:
- Leading on the procurement and delivery of complex energy and infrastructure projects
- Drafting, negotiating and finalising sophisticated commercial and project agreements
- Acting as a trusted adviser to clients, delivering pragmatic and commercially focused advice
- Managing day-to-day client relationships with partner support
- Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
- Contributing to business development and the continued growth of the practice

The team is open to lawyers from a range of backgrounds and will consider candidates with experience in projects, energy, construction, infrastructure, PFI/PPP or complex commercial contracts.
You are likely to have:
- 5+ years' PQE
- Experience in commercial contracts and/or PFI/PPP or major projects work
- Background in private practice or in-house
- Strong technical ability combined with commercial judgement
- Confidence managing client relationships and leading matters
- Experience supervising junior lawyers
- An interest in business development and growing a practice
- A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for the energy and sustainability sector
