Real Estate Lawyer | Top 50 UK Law Firm | City of London
A leading UK law firm is seeking a Real Estate Lawyer to join its highly regarded national Investment and Development team, in London. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious real estate lawyer looking to work on high-profile development and investment projects, while positioning themselves for long-term progression within a market-leading practice.
This is a progressive UK law firm with a strong national presence and a clear focus on delivering excellent client service. The firm is known for its collaborative culture, investment in innovation, and commitment to supporting its lawyers at every stage of their career. Employees are encouraged to be themselves, work flexibly, and develop in an environment that values quality, ambition and teamwork. The firm has been independently recognised for its people-focused culture and commitment to continuous improvement.
The Real Estate group is one of the largest and most respected in the UK, consistently recognised for its depth of expertise and quality of service. The team advises a broad range of commercial and residential developers, investors, lenders and major occupiers, and is widely regarded as a go-to practice in the market.
Independent directories regularly highlight the team's technical excellence, responsiveness and commercial insight, reinforcing its strong reputation with both clients and peers.
The role offers exposure to complex, high-value commercial real estate work, close client contact, and a genuine platform to develop both technically and commercially. The practice acts for an impressive client base, including developers, pension funds, institutional investors and corporate occupiers, offering work that is both technically challenging and commercially meaningful.
You will support a well-established and growing development team, advising on a broad and stimulating caseload that includes:
- Commercial development and regeneration projects
- Site acquisitions and disposals
- Pre-lets, forward funding and joint venture arrangements
- Landlord and tenant matters across the commercial property spectrum
This role is particularly well-suited to a Real Estate Lawyer who enjoys working closely with clients, contributing to business development, and playing a visible role in the continued growth of a national real estate practice. The firm is keen to speak with qualified real estate lawyers who can demonstrate:
- Strong technical and commercial experience in commercial property law
- Exposure to development and/or investment work (training and support can be provided where needed)
- Confidence in managing client relationships and contributing to wider team objectives
- An interest in developing a long-term career within a leading real estate team
Experience in development work is advantageous, but not essential. The firm is committed to supporting skill-set development and investing in its people as they progress to the next stage of their career.
