Construction Litigation Lawyer | International Law Firm | City of London A leading international law firm is seeking a Construction Dispute Resolution Lawyer to join its top-tier London construction disputes team. This is a rare opportunity to work at the forefront of the construction, energy and infrastructure sectors, advising on some of the largest, most complex and high-profile disputes in the UK and internationally. The team is widely recognised as one of the strongest construction disputes practices in the market, known for its technical excellence, innovative approach and deep sector expertise across construction, engineering and major infrastructure projects. This role offers exposure to high-value, complex and strategically important disputes across the full lifecycle of construction and infrastructure projects. You will work closely with recognised leaders in the field, taking on meaningful responsibility and playing an active role in shaping dispute strategies for major clients. The practice advises on everything from dispute avoidance and live project problem-solving through to formal dispute resolution, including adjudication, arbitration, litigation, mediation and other forms of ADR. The work is varied, intellectually challenging and often industry-shaping. For an experienced construction disputes lawyer, this role provides a strong platform for career progression, profile building and long-term development within a genuinely market-leading team. Key Responsibilities: - Advising clients on complex construction and engineering disputes and contentious advisory matters - Handling adjudications, arbitrations, High Court litigation and mediations - Supporting clients with dispute avoidance, risk strategy and live project issues - Working closely with partners on major UK and international disputes - Managing client relationships and contributing to long-term strategic advice - Collaborating with colleagues across the firm's UK and international offices - Playing an active role in knowledge sharing, team development and client engagement You will advise a blue-chip client base including major contractors, developers, energy companies, infrastructure sponsors, governments, funders and investors. The work spans transport, tunnelling, mining, social and commercial infrastructure, as well as the full energy spectrum from oil and gas and nuclear to renewables and low-carbon technologies. About You: - UK-qualified solicitor with 5+ years' PQE in construction and engineering disputes - Strong experience across contentious construction work and dispute resolution procedures - Technically excellent with a commercial, solutions-focused mindset - Confident dealing directly with clients and senior stakeholders - A collaborative team player who thrives in a high-performing environment - Ambitious and motivated to develop a long-term career within a leading disputes practice This role will particularly appeal to experienced construction disputes lawyers who want to work at the top end of the market, deepen their sector expertise and take the next step in their career within a globally recognised practice.
