Commercial IT Lawyer | Top 100 UK Law Firm | London A standout opportunity to join a growing Commercial & Technology team working on complex, high-value IT projects An established and highly regarded UK law firm is looking to recruit a Commercial IT Lawyer to join its expanding Commercial/Technology practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer to take on a visible role advising on major technology and outsourcing projects across both the public and private sectors. This role offers the chance to work at the forefront of IT, outsourcing and digital transformation projects, advising on strategically important, large-scale programmes. You will join a collaborative and well-supported team with a strong reputation in the market and a clear growth trajectory. A key highlight is the opportunity to play a central role in a long-term, high-profile outsourcing programme, alongside broader exposure to a varied and sophisticated client base. You will benefit from: - High levels of client contact and early responsibility - The opportunity to lead on transactions and manage workstreams - A clear path for progression within a growing team - Exposure to complex, multi-million-pound commercial projects You will advise on a wide range of commercial and IT matters, with a particular focus on outsourcing, technology contracts and business-critical projects. Key responsibilities will include: - Advising on major IT and business process outsourcing agreements - Drafting and negotiating a range of commercial and technology contracts - Supporting and leading on complex, multi-disciplinary projects - Working closely with partners and clients on strategic matters - Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers - Collaborating across teams on cross-practice matters Clients include central government departments, NHS bodies, local authorities, housing associations, and a range of private sector organisations. You will be a qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 5-7 years' PQE, with a strong grounding in commercial contracts and a genuine interest in technology law. The firm is open to candidates from both private practice and in-house backgrounds.
