The team works collaboratively across the full construction lifecycle and is particularly well known for its strength in construction disputes, adjudication, arbitration, and Technology and Construction Court (TCC) litigation, including matters involving the Building Safety Act. You will join a supportive and collegiate environment where junior lawyers are given meaningful responsibility and client exposure from an early stage. As a Construction Disputes Associate, your responsibilities will include: - Advising clients on a broad range of contentious construction matters, including adjudication, mediation, arbitration, and litigation - Drafting key dispute documentation such as pre-action correspondence, adjudication submissions, pleadings, and witness statements - Acting as a day-to-day contact for clients, managing relationships and delivering commercially focused advice - Working closely with experts, counsel, and internal teams to drive matters forward - Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to the continued growth of the practice You can expect to be involved in a varied and high-quality caseload, including: - Complex multi-party construction disputes in the TCC - Adjudications arising from large-scale commercial and residential developments - Disputes involving defects claims, contractor and subcontractor issues - Advisory work on risk management and dispute strategy for live projects - Matters involving Building Safety Act-related issues Clients include developers, contractors, asset managers, building owners, and institutional investors across sectors such as real estate, infrastructure, healthcare, and logistics.
