Construction Associate - Non Contentious | Top 100 UK Law Firm | London An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented Construction Associate to join a highly regarded and growing non-contentious construction team within a progressive UK Top 100 law firm. This role offers exposure to a broad range of high-quality development, infrastructure and energy projects across the UK. You will work with an established client base including developers, funders, contractors and suppliers, advising across the full construction lifecycle. You will play a key role in advising on non-contentious construction matters, with responsibilities including: - Acting on a wide range of construction and engineering projects, supporting on transactions from inception to completion - Drafting and negotiating construction documentation, including JCT and NEC contracts - Advising on construction aspects of real estate and corporate transactions, including due diligence - Managing client relationships and delivering commercial, solutions-focused advice - Taking ownership of matters and ensuring delivery to deadlines and budget - Supporting senior lawyers while also supervising and mentoring junior team members - Contributing to business development, marketing initiatives and thought leadership Applications are sought from qualified solicitors (England & Wales) with: - 2-6 years' PQE in non-contentious construction law - Strong experience advising on JCT, NEC and related construction documentation - A solid understanding of construction due diligence and security packages - Excellent client-facing skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality service - A genuine interest in the built environment and construction sector - The confidence to manage transactions with appropriate supervision Candidates with an interest in developing sector expertise (e.g. real estate, infrastructure, energy or healthcare) will be particularly well placed.
