Planning Lawyer | Top 50 UK Law Firm | London A leading national law firm is looking to recruit a Planning Solicitor to join its highly regarded and growing Planning & Environment team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a UK-qualified planning lawyer to join a genuinely multi-disciplinary practice, working alongside planning lawyers, environmental specialists, advocates and planning consultants on a broad range of development projects. The team is experiencing continued growth, with increasing levels of instructions across a diverse range of development sectors. As a result, this is an exciting time to join an ambitious planning practice where you will have the opportunity to develop your technical expertise, broaden your client exposure and play an important role in the continued growth of the wider national team. You will benefit from working within a collaborative and supportive environment alongside experienced planning professionals, with opportunities to develop your career within a team recognised for its depth of expertise and pragmatic, commercially focused approach. Your role will include advising on a broad range of planning and development matters, including: - Drafting and negotiating Section 106 agreements and other planning obligations. - Advising on highways agreements and other statutory agreements. - Providing advice on planning, highways and associated legislation. - Undertaking planning due diligence in connection with property and corporate transactions. - Advising on contentious planning matters, including planning inquiries and hearings. - Assisting with High Court challenges and judicial review proceedings. - Supporting clients throughout the planning process, from the inception of development proposals through to implementation and delivery. - Working collaboratively with colleagues across planning, environment, property, corporate and other relevant practice areas. - Building strong relationships with clients and providing clear, pragmatic and commercially focused legal advice. We are keen to hear from qualified planning solicitors with NQ-4 years' PQE who are looking to take the next step in their career within a progressive and growing planning practice.
