We are working with a highly regarded UK law firm seeking an experienced Commercial Solicitor with a minimum of 4 years' PQE to join its growing London team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile commercial, technology, IT and outsourcing matters for an impressive and diverse client base spanning the private, public and third sectors. The role offers particularly strong opportunities for lawyers with an interest in technology, AI, outsourcing and the rapidly evolving commercial landscape. As a Commercial & Technology Solicitor, you will advise clients across a broad range of matters, including: - Commercial contracts and strategic arrangements, providing pragmatic and commercially focused legal advice. - Technology transactions, including technology licensing and complex IT contracts. - Outsourcing and supply chain agreements, including advising on strategically important projects. - Artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, helping clients navigate new opportunities and legal considerations. - Complex commercial arrangements and projects across a diverse range of sectors. - Contract drafting and negotiation, from initial instruction through to completion. - Data protection matters and legal due diligence, including supervising junior lawyers. - Client training on key legal, regulatory and market developments. - Business development initiatives and the continued development of client relationships. - Collaboration with colleagues across the firm's UK offices. - Occasional support on the firm's own IT and data protection projects. We are looking for a Commercial Solicitor with at least 4 years' PQE, gained within a large regional, national or international law firm. You will have strong technical contract law expertise and a genuine interest in commercial law, technology, IT, outsourcing and emerging areas such as AI. You are likely to have: - Excellent commercial contract drafting and negotiation skills. - Strong technical legal knowledge and attention to detail. - The confidence to take ownership of complex matters and manage client relationships. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach to legal advice. - Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of clients' wider business objectives. - The ability to manage competing priorities effectively. - A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for supporting and mentoring junior colleagues. - A genuine commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
