Real Estate Finance Lawyer | International Law Firm | City of London An excellent opportunity for a Real Estate Finance Lawyer join the growing finance practice of a leading international law firm in London. This is an attractive opportunity for a lawyer looking to build their career within a market-leading Real Estate Finance team, working alongside highly regarded Partners on sophisticated, high-value transactions for an impressive client base of major banks, debt funds, insurers, institutional investors, developers, property companies and family offices. The practice acts for both lenders and borrowers on domestic and cross-border transactions covering a wide range of asset classes. Your work could include development finance, hotel finance, Islamic finance and mezzanine finance, with transactions spanning sectors such as hotels and leisure, build-to-rent/PRS, student accommodation, logistics and offices. For an ambitious Solicitor/Associate, the role offers an excellent platform to deepen your technical expertise, gain further exposure to sophisticated clients and transactions, and play a meaningful role in the continued growth of the practice. Key Responsibilities: - Advise major banks, debt funds, insurers and other financial institutions on real estate finance transactions. - Act for investors, developers, blue-chip property companies and family offices on borrower-side transactions. - Work on domestic and cross-border real estate-backed financing matters. - Assist with and take responsibility for a broad range of transactions, including development finance, hotel finance, Islamic finance and mezzanine finance. - Draft, review and negotiate sophisticated finance documentation and security documents. Candidate Profile: - At least 1 year's PQE as a qualified solicitor. - Relevant experience in real estate finance. - Experience gained within a major or leading law firm. - Strong academic qualifications. - A strong technical understanding of finance transactions and excellent drafting skills. - Strong communication and client relationship skills. - Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
