This is an exciting opportunity for an Associate with 4+ years' PQE to join a well-established and ambitious Contentious Construction & Engineering team in London, with a clear opportunity to play a meaningful role in the continued growth of the practice.
You will join a high-quality construction team advising leading industry clients on complex and commercially significant disputes, while working closely with colleagues across the firm's wider UK and international network.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act for a diverse range of leading clients on contentious construction and engineering matters.
- Manage and contribute to complex disputes involving delay, defects, payment, loss and other project-related claims.
- Provide commercially focused, project-based advice designed to help clients identify and manage potential disputes.
- Assist clients with disputes through a range of dispute resolution processes, including both formal and informal mechanisms.
- Develop strong, trusted relationships with clients and become a valued adviser on day-to-day and strategic issues.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in London and across the firm's wider national and international practice.
- Contribute to the continued development and growth of the Contentious Construction & Engineering team.
- Support business development and client relationship initiatives, helping to identify opportunities for profitable growth.
- Share knowledge and contribute to a supportive, high-performing team environment.
We are keen to hear from lawyers who can demonstrate:
- A minimum of 4 years' PQE with solid experience in Construction & Engineering litigation or contentious construction work.
- A strong academic background and demonstrable technical capability.
- Excellent client relationship and communication skills, with the confidence to engage directly with clients on day-to-day and complex issues.
- A commercial and pragmatic approach to legal advice.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative and collegiate team.
- A genuine interest in contributing to business development, client relationships and practice growth.
- The ambition to develop your career within a leading construction practice.
