A prestigious international law firm is seeking a highly qualified mid-level associate to join its Mergers & Acquisitions practice in the New York office. This position is tailored for attorneys with 4 to 6 years of dedicated experience advising on complex corporate transactions, with a strong emphasis on domestic and cross-border M&A. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in representing public and private companies, private equity sponsors, and other institutional investors across the full spectrum of M&A transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and other strategic investments. Experience with general corporate governance, shareholder arrangements, and transaction structuring is strongly preferred. Candidates must demonstrate a high level of responsibility on deals, including leading due diligence efforts, drafting key transaction documents, negotiating terms, and coordinating closing processes. A solid foundation from a nationally or internationally recognized law firm is required, as is a strong academic record from a top-tier law school. The role demands excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills, along with the ability to manage multiple matters efficiently while maintaining a client-focused approach. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, commercially minded, and capable of working effectively within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Admission to the New York State Bar is required. Applicants must submit a resume and law school transcript for consideration.
