3rd - 5th year M&A Associate

A leading law firm is seeking a highly qualified associate to join its Mergers & Acquisitions / Private Equity practice group. This role is designed for a mid-level associate with 3 to 5 years of substantive experience handling complex corporate transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in private equity and M&A work, including experience representing private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, as well as strategic buyers and sellers, in a broad range of transactional matters. Candidates should bring experience from a nationally recognized law firm, where they have gained exposure to sophisticated deal structures, due diligence processes, and transactional negotiations. A strong academic background is required, along with exceptional drafting, analytical, and written communication skills. The successful candidate must be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
