Emerging Companies & Venture Capital Associate (3-5 Years)
Location: Flexible
An associate with 3-5 years of experience in emerging companies and venture capital transactions is sought to join a dynamic ECVC team. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex transactions while working closely with founders, CEOs, management teams, and boards on the company side, as well as venture capital and other investor clients.
The successful candidate will have a strong interest in growth industries and demonstrated experience advising on venture financings, corporate governance, equity structuring, and related corporate matters. The role requires excellent client management skills and the ability to navigate transactions involving innovative companies across diverse sectors.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage venture capital financings and related corporate transactions
*
Advise founders, management, and boards on governance, equity compensation, and strategic initiatives
*
Represent institutional investors in financings and investment transactions
*
Collaborate with cross-practice teams to deliver comprehensive legal solutions
*
Support clients throughout the company lifecycle, from formation through exit
Candidate Profile:
*
3-5 years of ECVC transactional experience at a leading law firm or boutique
*
Demonstrated interest and experience in technology, life sciences, or other high-growth sectors
*
Strong drafting, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
*
Admitted to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction
