A Vault top-10 law firm is seeking a Senior Capital Markets Associate with 6-7 years of experience to join its high-performing team in New York. This position is ideal for seasoned professionals with a strong background in capital markets transactions and a demonstrated ability to provide strategic legal counsel in complex financial matters. The Senior Associate will be responsible for managing sophisticated transactions, advising on investment strategies, and performing detailed financial and legal analyses. The role requires a deep understanding of global capital markets and a strategic mindset to effectively guide clients through a variety of equity and debt offerings, private placements, and securities compliance matters. Candidates should possess exceptional negotiation and analytical skills, along with the ability to lead deal teams and collaborate across practice groups. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and manage capital markets transactions, including public and private offerings of debt and equity securities * Advise issuers, underwriters, and investors on securities law compliance, disclosure obligations, and investment structures * Conduct in-depth financial and legal due diligence * Collaborate with cross-functional teams across corporate, regulatory, and finance practices * Provide strategic legal and market insights to clients Qualifications: * 6-7 years of relevant experience at a top-tier law firm or financial institution * Deep knowledge of U.S. securities laws, capital markets structures, and regulatory frameworks * Proven ability to manage complex transactions from inception to closing * Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills * Admission to the New York Bar or eligibility to waive in Compensation: The base salary for this role ranges from $390,000 to $420,000, commensurate with experience and reflecting the seniority and expertise required.
