A top-tier international law firm is seeking a highly qualified Emerging Companies & Venture Capital (ECVC) Associate with 4 to 6 years of experience to join its New York office. Position Overview
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience advising emerging growth companies and venture capital firms in connection with:

Venture financings (convertible notes, SAFEs, Series Seed, Series A and beyond)
*
Corporate governance and general corporate matters
*
Founder equity structuring and cap table management
*
M&A and exit transactions involving growth-stage companies
*
Drafting and negotiating a broad range of financing and corporate agreements
Experience with technology and/or life sciences companies is strongly preferred. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and a genuine interest in working with entrepreneurs and investors in fast-paced, innovation-driven sectors.
Qualifications

J.D. from a top-tier law school
*
Admission to the New York Bar (or eligibility to waive in)
*
4-6 years of relevant ECVC experience at a peer firm
*
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
*
Proven ability to manage client relationships and complex transactions independently
