Position Overview:
As a Mid-Level M&A Associate, you will be a key member of deal teams advising on public and private mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, spin-offs, joint ventures, and strategic investments, often involving complex regulatory and cross-border elements.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead or co-lead deal workstreams, including managing due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, and coordinating across specialist teams

Advise clients on structuring, risk allocation, and governance matters in M&A transactions
*
Participate in direct client interactions, including negotiations and strategic discussions
*
Work closely with partners to drive deal execution from term sheet through closing
*
Support business development efforts and mentoring of junior associates
Qualifications:
*
JD from a top-tier law school
*
4-6 years of experience in M&A at a highly regarded law firm
*
Significant experience with both public and private transactions
*
Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
*
Admission to the New York Bar required
*
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
