A globally recognized, top-tier law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Mergers & Acquisitions Associate to join its New York office. Position Overview:
The successful candidate will join a dynamic and growing M&A team, working on high-value domestic and international transactions across a range of sectors. Key Responsibilities:

Draft and negotiate public and private M&A transaction documents, including merger agreements, stock and asset purchase agreements, and ancillary deal documentation

Manage and lead due diligence processes and coordinate input from internal specialists and local counsel
*
Interface with clients, counterparties, and advisors to support deal execution from initial structuring through closing
*
Advise on corporate governance, private equity investments, and regulatory considerations across jurisdictions
*
Collaborate with global teams to deliver cohesive and commercially focused legal solutions
Qualifications:
*
JD from a leading law school and admission to the New York Bar
*
A minimum of three years of M&A experience, with a strong emphasis on public company transactions
*
Demonstrated experience in handling cross-border and multi-jurisdictional deals
*
Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
*
Commercial mindset and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
*
Proactive, resourceful, and team-oriented approach
