About the Practice The firm's securities and capital markets practice is dynamic and growing, with a particular focus on life sciences, technology, and digital asset verticals - sectors producing some of the most active issuer and underwriter clients in the current market. The practice sits within a broader national capital markets and public company advisory group, giving associates exposure to sophisticated public company work for large- and mid-cap clients rather than a narrow or siloed mandate. The Role The firm is seeking a corporate associate with a minimum of 3 years of capital markets experience to join its New York or New Jersey office. The role centers on public company reporting and compliance, corporate governance, and capital markets work, including periodic reporting, proxy statements, and Section 13/16 filings. Associates work day-to-day with public company clients, handling matters from inception through resolution, with direct client interaction and real ownership over deliverables. Strong knowledge of the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and Nasdaq/NYSE listing and governance requirements is expected; prior AmLaw 100 experience is preferred.
