Procurement & Contracts Senior Associate | 5+ PQE | Leading National Firm | Leeds A highly regarded UK law firm is looking to strengthen its national Procurement & Contracts practice with a Senior Associate appointment in Leeds: The Firm: · Highly competitive salary and benefits · Nationally recognised non-contentious commercial and procurement practice · Market-leading reputation in healthcare, social care, housing and local government · Clear commitment to growing and investing in procurement and commercial work · High-quality, complex and intellectually challenging matters · Excellent training, knowledge sharing and technical support · Strong emphasis on development, progression and leadership opportunities · Flexible hybrid working model The Role: · Procurement & Contracts Senior Associate · Highly competitive salary · Advising primarily public sector clients on procurement law and commercial contracts · Work under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, Procurement Act 2023, Procurement Regulations 2024 and the Provider Selection Regime · Advising on project structuring and procurement strategy · Managing end-to-end procurement processes from market engagement through to award and contract management · Drafting procurement documentation and advising on evaluation, moderation and risk management · Drafting a wide range of commercial contracts, including services and goods contracts, frameworks, call-offs, concession and collaboration agreements · Advising on contract interpretation, variations, waivers and compliance with procurement legislation · Working closely with specialist procurement litigation colleagues where required The Candidate: · Ideally 5+ years' PQE in procurement and commercial law · Strong technical expertise in public procurement · Confident managing client relationships · Comfortable taking responsibility for complex matters · Strong organisational and time-management skills · Interested in business development and practice growth · Collaborative, proactive and detail-oriented · Keen to develop leadership skills within a high-performing team This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading procurement and commercial team, offering high-quality work, genuine responsibility and excellent long-term career progression.
