A leading international law firm is looking to add an Associate to its highly regarded Commercial and Public Procurement team in Leeds.

The Role:
· Associate in the Commercial and Public Procurement team
· Competitive salary and strong benefits package

· Working on a broad mix of commercial and procurement matters
· Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts
· Advising on complex, high-value public sector and infrastructure projects
· Supporting on major cross-sector projects spanning healthcare, government and technology
· Providing commercially focused, solution-led risk advice to clients
· Managing matters and contributing to project delivery (depending on experience)
· Supporting business development initiatives including pitches, networking and client engagement
· Working closely with highly ranked lawyers in a nationally recognised team
The Candidate:
· Newly qualified - 5 PQE solicitor with experience in commercial law
· Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
· Interest in public sector, health or procurement work (procurement experience beneficial but not essential)
· Strong commercial awareness with a practical, solutions-focused approach
· Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
· Ability to manage workload effectively and contribute to complex projects
· Strong academic background with the ability to quickly develop sector knowledge
