Associate - Energy Project Finance (LatAm) - 3-5 yrs

A prominent international law firm is looking for a mid-level attorney with a minimum of three years in project finance to join its Energy, Infrastructure, Project and Asset Finance group in New York. Spanish fluency is essential for this position. The role involves managing cross-border financing transactions within the energy and infrastructure sectors. You will lead deal teams, oversee due diligence processes, and handle negotiations with clients and counterparties. Your work will span debt and equity financings, restructurings, and joint ventures, with particular emphasis on renewable energy and energy transition initiatives. Additional responsibilities include mentoring junior colleagues and participating in business development activities. We are seeking candidates with a JD or equivalent degree and strong academic achievements. You should be admitted to practice in New York or eligible for admission. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
