Finance Associate - Miami 3-6yrs

A leading global firm with 2,500 lawyers across 40 offices is growing its Financial Markets practice in Miami and is looking for a finance associate ready to take on serious responsibility from day one. The firm's Financial Markets team is one of the most active in the world, having closed well over a trillion dollars in financing transactions in recent years, acting for both lenders and borrowers across a full range of complex leveraged finance and asset-based lending deals. The Miami office sits at the intersection of the US and Latin American markets, giving this role a genuinely distinctive deal flow. You will be joining a compact, high-calibre team with direct access to partners and clients. Expect to take ownership of structuring, drafting and deal management on complex transactions from an early stage, with meaningful client interaction built in rather than earned over years. The broader Miami office of around 50 lawyers is a collegiate environment where cross-practice collaboration is the norm. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience at a large firm, with a solid grounding in leveraged finance and/or asset-based lending on either the lender or borrower side. You are comfortable running deals, not just supporting them. Compensation is above Cravath scale.
