Miami's skyline needs a better finance lawyer. Is that you?

Real Estate Finance Miami 4-8 PQE Above Cravath Lender & Borrower Side Cross-Border LatiAm Exposure
A globally ranked real estate finance practice is adding a senior associate in Miami. This is a seat that comes with real complexity, real clients, and real responsibility from the start.

LatAm Gateway city
The practice advises investment banks, private equity funds, financial institutions and REITs on some of the most complex real estate finance transactions in the market, acting for both lenders and borrowers across the full capital structure. Recent mandates include multi-billion euro construction and acquisition financings for some of the world's largest real estate platforms. The Miami office sits at the centre of the firm's Latin American business, giving this role a genuinely distinctive deal flow that most US real estate finance seats simply cannot offer.
"High-quality people who are thoughtful and help navigate through challenging situations. Sharp and always prepared."
Legal 500 | Real Estate Finance, US
The firm's real estate platform covers the full spectrum: multifamily, hospitality, industrial and logistics, data centres, healthcare, retail and office. On the finance side that means construction loans, acquisition financings, portfolio deals, subordinated debt, debt restructurings and workouts. The Miami office connects seamlessly into those global networks across the US, Europe and Asia.
Sectors you will finance:
Multifamily & Office
Industrial & Logistics
Data Centres
Hospitality & Leisure
Healthcare
Cross-Border LatAm
You will be taking ownership of transactions, not just supporting them. The team is known for giving associates genuine structuring and drafting responsibility early, working directly alongside partners and clients on the most complex deals in the market. Compensation is above Cravath scale, and Miami means the money goes further than New York.
What the firm is looking for: 4 to 8 years at a large firm, solid real estate finance experience on lender or borrower side (ideally both), comfort with complex multi-party transactions, and the confidence to run a deal room. Spanish language skills are a meaningful advantage given the office's Latin American footprint, though not a requirement.
