Construction Solicitor NQ-2 PQE - Leeds A leading law firm is looking for a Construction Solicitor ideally newly-qualified to 2 years PQE, to join their nationally recognised construction & engineering team based in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your legal career in a highly regarded team that offers interesting work, both national and international as well as significant opportunities for progression. You will play a pivotal role in this experienced team, handing a broad range of contentious matters from small-scale disputes to high-value, multi-million-pound claims. You will also work closely with the Legal Director, contributing to High Court litigation cases from pre-action stage right through to trial. Clients include several major developers, national housebuilders, contractors, subcontractors, professional consultants and employers and you will be encouraged to develop strong working relationships with key clients from the outset. The Ideal Candidate: · Qualified Solicitor, ideally NQ-2 years PQE although candidates outside this level are still encouraged to apply. · Construction experience gained within an established practice. · You will have had exposure to various parts of construction projects, contracts and disputes. · Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. · Enthusiastic about construction law. · A strong commercial acumen.
