Senior Projects & Energy Lawyer 6+ PQE - Leeds A leading national firm is looking for a Senior Lawyer to join their highly regarded Energy team based in Leeds. You will play a pivotal part in shaping and developing a successful team at the cutting edge of delivering high-profile energy projects nationally. The talented Energy team is made up of lawyers that have transferred into the energy sector, bringing a diverse set of skills and experience. With this in mind, the team are open to considering candidates from a range of backgrounds, without direct experience of the energy sector, although this will be preferable. With the ambitious growth plans for this team, there are real prospects of progression to Partner for the right candidate. The team is led by three Partners, all of whom are ranked in the legal directories for their expertise in Energy, Project Finance and PFI. They have exceptional experience in the energy market, advising high-profile, private sector clients, and many UK wide public sector organisations, on a range of energy and infrastructure projects across different energy sources and technologies. The Ideal Candidate: · Qualified Solicitor with around 6 years PQE upwards. · Experience of working in a collaborative team, with fee earners across other disciplines. · Passion to learn and the drive to excel as a lawyer in the energy sector. · Strong interest in business development and networking. · Experience of supervising junior team members.
