Health & Care Regulatory Solicitor 1+ PQE - Leeds
A UK-Top 100 commercial law firm is looking for a Regulatory Solicitor to join their highly regarded team in Leeds. This is a great opportunity to join a leading national team with diverse, intellectually stimulating and rewarding work, both contentious and non-contentious.

Recognised for their expertise within the housing, local government and health & social care sectors, you will join a market-leading team with high quality and hugely rewarding work.
The Opportunity:
As a Solicitor in the Health & Care Regulatory team. You will advise clients on a broad range of health, social care and education issues, both contentious and non-contentious. You will manage your own caseload of complex litigation Court of Protection, human rights, inquests, mental health, safeguarding, patient safety, serious incident response, complaints and disputes, HSE/CQC inspection and enforcement, education, children law, challenges to decision-making in in health and social care.
Key Responsibilities include:
· Managing a mixed caseload of litigation and advisory matters;
· Undertaking advocacy at inquests, Court of Protection hearings and Tribunals;
· Actively participating in business development and client care.
The Ideal Candidate:
· Qualified Solicitor with 1-6 years' PQE;
· An interest in developing a career in health, social care law and/or education law;
· A good team player with the ability to form meaningful and sustained working relationships;
· Demonstrable experience of undertaking own advocacy;
· A strong commercial acumen.
The firm offer hybrid working and where possible can offer flexibility in a way that suits you, subject to the needs of clients and the team. Also on offer is a competitive salary from around 55k upwards depending on experience, a bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
