Planning Associate 2+ PQE - Leeds A highly regarded national firm is looking for a Planning Associate to join their team, based in Leeds with hybrid working. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team led by industry recognised planning partners, advising clients across a broad range of sectors including energy, projects, retail and housebuilding. THE OPPORTUNITY The Planning team operate as one national team across a wide range of contentious and non-contentious matters. The work is very high quality, offering you the platform to take your career to the next level. There is also plenty of opportunities to take part in business development, to support further growth of the team. As an Associate in this market-leading team, you will advise on a range of matters including highways matters and compulsory purchase work, drafting and negotiating complex Section 106 agreements, judicial review, footpath/highway closures, infrastructure agreements and village green issues. ABOUT YOU · Qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years' PQE. · Enthusiastic and passionate about planning law. · Experience gained within an established planning practice. · Well-rounded experience across contentious and non-contentious planning. · Clear, articulate and confident in written and verbal communication skills. · Willing to take part in business development. · A strong commercial acumen.
