Clinical Negligence Solicitor, We have an new opportunity for an NQ-5 year PQE Solicitor to join one of the largest and fastest growing law firms in the East Midlands. The Role: The team are looking for an enthusiastic Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join their team of specialists who are recognised in The Legal 500. Due to continuing growth and success an excellent opportunity has arisen at our Leicester office. Ideally they are looking for a Newly Qualified having done a Clinical Negligence training seat or someone with up to 5 years post qualification experience. The successful candidate will inherit some existing cases initially and there will be a requirement to build upon this with a view to running their own full Clinical Negligence caseload. On joining an established Clinical Negligence team handling a high-quality, predominantly multi-track caseload. You'll work with a supportive team, dealing with complex and sensitive matters while making a real difference to injured clients and their families. Key Responsibilities: Manage your own caseload of claimant clinical negligence files from inception to settlement/trial. Assess liability, quantum and merits, instructing experts and counsel as appropriate. Draft pleadings, schedules, witness statements and instructions to counsel/experts. Attend conferences, settlement meetings and mediations. Provide empathetic, clear and practical advice to clients.
